Structural Firefighter
Are you ready to make a real difference when it matters most? As a Structural Firefighter, you’ll be part of a brotherhood and sisterhood that runs toward danger when others turn away. You’ll train to save lives, protect property, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a team that has your back through every challenge.
You’ll complete NJ Firefighter I, Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations, SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus), and Incident Management Level I training. These courses are the foundation of your firefighting career. From battling smoke-filled structures and rescuing trapped civilians to handling vehicle extrications and hazardous materials incidents, you’ll be right in the heart of the action.
Associate Member
This person does not actively participate in the handling of emergencies, but participates in various administrative functions to help the department. There is no training requirement. Functions include but are not limited to fund raising, photography, publicity & community relations, legal support and secretarial support.
